Frequently asked questions (FAQs)

Question
My Screen has suddenly rotated so it appears on its side or  is upside down.

Answer (Windows_XP,Vista, Windows 7)

You have accidently pressed a combination of keys all together. The rotation can be reset to normal by:

  1. Open Control Panel>Display>Settings tab>advanced, navigate through the tabs to find a rotate display option. This option. The option should allow you to rotate the display back to its original orientation. Not available in Windows 7
  2. There's also a shortcut/hotkey combination on some machines. Press "CTRL + ALT + up arrow" (or left, right or down arrow ), and the screen rotates in the direction of the arrow.
