Web Site Hosting.
There are three processes involved in having a Web Site.
The Site itself has to be designed. This process involves a
lot of cooperation between the Client and the Web site
Designer/Programmer and requires skills in design, programming and
artwork, as well as the ability to listen to the Client and as much as
possible design to the Clients wishes.
The second process involves getting a catchy domain name is is
usually discussed at the design stage.
The third process involves placing the site somewhere on a server
farm somewhere in the world. The servers in these farms are
owned or leased by Hosting Companies. These then rent out space
on the servers to individuals or Hosting Retailers who in turn rent
space to the individuals or Companies who require a web site.
A requirement of my business clients was to supply all the
processes as part of my service to them, I rented a server which was
able to give those services with plenty of room to spare.
Eventually I had to increase the space as more and more clients
bought in to my services. During that time I decided to go
with a Company called eVerity in the USA. their service has
given me satisfaction and the after sales service has been quick and
helpful. Their service can be purchased by anyone and a link
is presented on the column on the right.
